We S.G.Reddy University, Raipur (C .G) Formally known as Dr.S.G.Reddy University, has started the Directorate of Distance Education (Distance Learning and continuing Education), for providing opportunities for continuing education to those who have missed the opportunities to complete their formal education and to help them enhance their skills with vocational courses for gainful employment &self employment particularly we have designed around 25 vocational courses is the secondary & Sr. section level to enhance the level on education &upliftment for the students For, students planning to go abroad we have designed a fourth year syllabus which contains professional work regarding the particular group.

The S.G.Reddy University, Raipur has been established through an act of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly under Chhattisgarh NijiKshetraViswavidyalaya (SthapanaAurVinayaman) Adhniyam 2002 as published in the Gazette Notification No. F-73-57/2003/HE/38 dated 26-5-2003 as a State University as defined in Section 2(1) of University Grants Commission Act. And it is also recognized by the MHRD in the letter dated 20th Jan 2004. One of the objects of the university is to uplift and upgrade the literacy rate and living standards of the people in India and abroad. The mission of the University is to provide innovative education, training & research in the disciplines of Management, Engineering & Technology, Science, Education, Law, Arts, Medical Science, Computer Sciences & Information Technology of international standards.

The courses offered without any upper age limit are highly flexible in nature with many unique features. The programmes offered are recognized by the ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India and stand on par with those of the conventional education.

The Distance learning and continuing education programs are run at various locations in India and abroad through contract program officers. The students intending to pursue any of the courses listed below may apply either to the contract program officers at their location or direct to the university.
