No. F 73-57/2003/HE/38. –in exercise of the powers conferred in Sub-section (1) of Section 5 of the Chhattisgarh NiziKshetraViswavidyalaya (SthapnaAurViniyaman) Adhiniyam, 2002 (No. 2 of 2002) for extension of Higher/ Technical Education in Chhattisgarh, hereby, establishes a university known as “S.G.Reddy University, Raipur” with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Chhattisgarh Gezette and the jurisdiction of the University shall extend over whole of Chhattisgarh.

1. The Head Office of the University shall be Raipur. (C.G).

2. The State Government hereby, authorizes “S.G.Reddy University, Raipur” to conduct the syllabus and to grant degree or diplomas for which it shall be recognized or authorized as may required under any other law the time being in force…………..

Sub:- Recognition of Degrees/ Diplomas/ Certificates issued by S.G.Reddy University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

With reference to your letter dated 19th Dec. 2003, I am directed to say that the. Degrees/ Diplomas/ Certificates including Matriculation (equivalent to 10th standard) and Pre-University Course (equivalent to 10+2 level) awarded by a University established by or under a State Act or Central Act are automatically recognized for employment under Central Government / All State Governments and for Education/ Higher Education in Indian Boards including all State Boards of Secondary Education/ All Central Universities/ All State Universities. S.G.Reddy University being a University notified vide no. 73-57/2003/HE/38 dated 26-05-2003 under Chhattisgarh NijiKshetraVishwavidyalaya (SthapanaAurViniyaman) Adhinlyam 2002 (No. 2 of 2002) the above said Degrees / Diplomas/ Certificates including Matriculation and Pre-University Course stand automatically recognized.
