S.G.Reddy University, Raipur has been established through an act of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assemby under Chhattisgarh NijiKshetra Viswavidyalaya (SthapanaAurVinayaman) Adhiniyam, 2002 as published in the Gazette Notification No. F73-57/2003/ HE/ 38, dt. 26-05-2003 as a State University as defined in Section 2(f) of University Grants Commission Act. The University is established with the objective of imparting high-end and industry relevant education to equip the prospective incumbents of the wheels of Industry with skills and managerial capabilities to accomplish the objectives entrusted to them.
